Our Story

During a stay at my home in 2018, three of my grandsons and I had many conversations about the problems facing our world and how we as individuals can make a difference. Out of these talks came a motto that has become the purpose of respectandbekind.

RABK was built on an unquestionable belief that respect and kindness are the foundation of genuine human interaction. By engaging and educating individuals, organizations, businesses and our community in this belief, it is our intention to be a unifying force for good.

Over the past few years, our mission has evolved and grown. Starting out by having a logo designed and then producing stickers with the logo printed on them, we have been leaving these stickers at various locations throughout the cities of Rochester and Buffalo. Recognition of our brand has organically grown over the years and we have garnered support from members of the community. It is our hope to establish a wider recognition in 2023 through a series of partnered community events, fundraisers and media attention.

The Future of RABK

We have taken the necessary steps to file for 501(c)3 status. By doing so, we will be able to apply for grants and fundraise as a non-profit organization. It is our intent to develop programs to educate and engage our community about the physical, mental and emotional benefits of living in a kind and respectful environment. There will be an emphasis on giving children the tools they need to practice kindness every day. We continue to educate ourselves on proven clinical and practical research studies, and as a result, we are steadfast in our belief that our mission will produce a positive outcome for our community. We thank you for your support and will provide updates on our projects as they unfold.
