Ethan’s Project
Ethan’s Project has taken life as a result of an early concept by our little respectandbekind team. The concept came about with the purpose of encouraging new parents to mindfully begin their newborn’s lives with the common and unifying belief that respect and kindness are the foundation of human beings, from birth. As a gift and inspiration, we decided we would like to produce and donate onesies with our message of “respect and be kind” printed on them. The onesie project was one that we thought would be something we would take on sometime in the future, as we created a positive revenue stream.
Ethan, our cousin/grandson, was born in March of 2021. He was born with S4 Neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer. Ethan has been receiving treatment at Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, NY, and he is doing really well. We decided that Ethan and his battle would serve as the catalyst to move our onesie project to the forefront and we would name it Ethan’s Project. Since then, we have partnered with Oishei in Buffalo, and Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester. With the generosity of our communities through fundraising, we will be donating our onesie packages to NICU newborns at both hospitals.
